Just paid another yet visit to Evans for 'more' kit - this trip is costing me a fortune! At least we are all helping UK retail sales figures
Ahead of L2P the riders have been advised to get as much sleep as possible. Last night was Sally and my Silver Wedding Anniversary and a good night sleep does not normally follow a big party - last night was no exception. Got to bed around midnight after a couple or three too many glasses of fizz, woken at 3.00am by one of my children being not very well, 4.00am by Sally having a sneezing attack and finally at 5am by an email advising me that I have been allocated tickets by the BOA to the women’s 58kg weightlifting – nice!
Off to London this afternoon with Gordie for race registration, pasta party and introduction to the celebrity riders - a few former football and rugby internationals, two motor sport world champions, a tour de france winner and a Paris- Roubaix winner. No pressure then!
