I'm not sure if anybody besides me and David keep checking the blog but thought I would add my experiences since L2P 2011 - almost 6 months ago!!!
Well, since the big adventure i've been keeping up the riding (bar a couple of breaks for exams and such like) and purchased a new carbon steed shortly after - it took all my strength to persuade the other half that this was a worthy "investment", but somehow I managed it! I also joined Leeds Mercury cycling club which has been fantastic for getting the miles in, learning some new routes and getting to know a few people on the local scene. This has since developed into a North Leeds racing team, Slipstream Bikes, and i'm hoping to start racing come the new year when the temperaturs get above freezing again. Other than L2P 2012 , racing is the only real goal and i'm hoping it will stand me in good stead in the quest for the pave of Paris.
I hope everyone is fighting fit and training for next year....
